Bartholomew County judges suspend jury trials until Jan. 21

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County’s judges have suspended jury trials until Jan. 21 due to high numbers of COVID-19 cases being reported in the community.

Bartholomew Superior Court 1 Judge James Worton announced the change Friday morning, saying all other court proceedings will continue, but with safe distancing requirements and remote hearings whenever possible.
