Crusaders pull out win

INDIANAPOLIS — Tied 20-20 going to the final period Friday night, Columbus Christian outscored Indiana Christian Academy 20-2 to claim a 38-22 victory.

Sarah Lorimor led the Crusaders (7-5) with 18 points. Madi Blair added nine.

Eagles fall to Mustangs

NASHVILLE — Brown County was within 19-14 at halftime, but Edgewood pulled away for a 48-20 Western Indiana Conference victory.

Anna Stogsdill led the Eagles (3-13, 3-5) with seven points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Chargers top Jets

GREENSBURG — Hauser was within 27-25 at halftime, but North Decatur pulled away for a 61-50 Mid-Hoosier Conference win.

Bryce Bates led the Jets (6-6, 1-2) with 18 points and eight rebounds. Koby Johnson scored 15 points, and Taeshaun Tungate added 11 points.

Columbus Christian falls

INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus Christian led 50-43 after three quarters, but Indiana Christian Academy rallied for a 63-53 victory.

Peyton Rehlander scored 21 points to lead the Crusaders (9-7). Gabe Ridder scored 15, and Cody Kiefer added 14.

Panthers upset Braves

NORTH VERNON — Jennings County pulled a mild upset with a 75-66 win against Class 3A No. 7 Brownstown Central.

Carter Kent led the Panthers (8-2) with 21 points. Carson McNulty, Owen Law and Keegan Manowitz all added 12.

Mustangs stop Eagles

NASHVILLE — Edgewood jumped out to a 19-4 lead after one quarter and went on to hand Brown County a 79-36 WIC defeat.

Kaydon Bellmore led the Eagles (2-6, 0-5) with 11 points. Ben Wagler added nine.
