Bull Dogs tame Lions

RUSHVILLE — Columbus North jumped out to a 14-4 lead after one quarter Tuesday night and went on to post a 50-38 victory at Rushville.

The Bull Dogs (13-8) built the lead to 34-19 at halftime and led 46-31 after three quarters.

Andrea Justis led North with 14 points. Lauren Barker scored 12, and Kylah Lawson added seven.

Chargers edge Jets

GREENSBURG — Hauser led 32-26 at halftime, but North Decatur rallied for a 60-59 Mid-Hoosier Conference win.

Madelyn Poe led the Jets (10-11, 1-5) with 16 points. Kyliegh Parrott scored 13, and Norah Berkenstock and Gabby Johns each added 10.

Columbus Christian wins

INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus Christian led only 32-31 after three quarters, but pulled away for a 50-41 win at Crosspointe Christian

Sarah Lorimor led the Crusaders (9-6) with 21 points. Eva Blair scored nine, and Paige Harden added eight.

Eagles fall to Spartans

SHELBYVILLE — Brown County led 23-21 at halftime, but Southwestern (Shelby) rallied for a 51-33 victory.

Katie Tipton led the Eagles (3-19) with 15 points. Maddie Huff added eight.

Bulldogs top Cougars

BATESVILLE — South Decatur was within 11-7 after one quarter, but Batesville pulled away for a 46-27 victory.

Loryn Pate led the Cougars (3-16) with 11 points.

Crusaders win at horn

INDIANAPOLIS — Peyton Rehlander came up with a steal and layup at the buzzer to lift Columbus Christian to a 44-43 win at Crosspointe Christian.

Gabe Ridder led the Crusaders (14-10) with 18 points. Noah Edwards scored 13, and Rehlander added 11.
