HOPE
Shirley Jean Trimnell, 80 of Hope passed away Thursday March 3, 2022 at her residence.
Born February 19, 1942 in Walnut Grove, KY, she was the daughter of Dewey and Thelma Cromer Ping. She married Don Trimnell September 30, 1989 and he survives.
Before retirement Shirley was employed doing upholstery. In her earlier years she was employed at Como Plastics and the Rovier Shirt Factory. She also did interior decorating, made dolls and painted.
Shirley was a member of the Who So Ever Will Community Church.
She loved fishing, her flower garden, decorating her house and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Shirley’s funeral will be Monday March 14, 2022 at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be Monday March 14 from noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Shirley is survived by her husband of Hope; children, Anthony (Carmen) Greenlee of Marietta, GA, Brian (Lana) Greenlee of Hope; step son, Scott Ryan Trimnell of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Matthew Greenlee of Atlanta, GA, Ian (Amber) Greenlee of Atlanta, GA, Morgan (Yana) Greenlee of Hope, Mikala (Darren) Brown of Hope, Maclyn (Joel) Benedict of Hope, Michal Greenlee of Hope, Kyle Trimnell, Brandon Craig of Atlanta, GA; great grandchildren, Harper and Mara Greenlee of Atlanta, GA and David and Layla Craig of Atlanta, GA; sister, Minta Bullock of Mt. Vernon, KY.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Dean Ping, Lester Ping, Elizabeth Streeval, Carolyn Hansel and Forster Ping.
