Duncan fires 65, moves into tie for 11th

PALM HARBOR, Fla. — Tyler Duncan fired the day’s second-best round, a 6-under-par 65, to move into a tie for 11th going into the final round of the Valspar Championship.

Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, shot 4-under 32 on the front nine and 2-under 33 on the back. He had opened with 69s on Thursday and Friday and sits at 10-under 203 through 54 holes.

The only player to go lower than Duncan on Saturday was Davis Riley, whose 62 put him at 18-under 195. Matthew NeSmith is two shots back at 16-under 197.
