Rural water alliance honors Koch

Alliance of Indiana Rural Water presented State Sen. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) with its Commitment to Rural Water Excellence award for his work to improve utilities in rural Indiana. The alliance presented the award at its 2022 spring conference in French Lick.

As chairman of the Senate Committee on Utilities, Koch meets regularly with alliance members, who noted that appreciate his attention to the concerns of rural water and wastewater utilities.

“It is an honor to be recognized by Alliance of Indiana Rural Water,” Koch said. “AIRW is an important voice for rural Indiana as we shape state water and wastewater policy for the next decade and beyond.”

Koch serves Senate District 44, which includes all or parts of Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe counties.
