Jets no-hit Mohawks
HOPE — Koby Johnson threw a no-hitter with 19 strikeouts Thursday to lead Hauser to a 1-0 Mid-Hooser Conference win against Waldron.
Sam Miller went 2 for 3 for the Jets (5-6, 4-0), who scored the game’s lone run in the fifth inning.
Bulldogs blank Crusaders
Columbus Christian was limited to two hits in a 9-0 loss to Dugger Union.
Gabe Ridder and Isaac Ridder had the hits for the Crusaders (2-3).
Chargers nip Lancers
EDINBURGH — Edinburgh led 6-5 after six innings, but North Decatur scored four in the top of the seventh to pull out a 9-6 MHC win.
Travis Jones went 2 for 3, and Gage Bennett went 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the Lancers (0-7, 0-5). Ian Buchanan also had two RBIs.
SOFTBALL
North wins title share
Rachel Cowan
Class 4A No. 4 Columbus North clinched at least a share of the Conference Indiana title with a 7-0 win against Southport.
Rachel Cowan threw a three-hitter with 11 strikeouts and went 2 for 2 with a home run and three RBIs for the Bull Dogs (10-1, 4-0). Kelsey Lovelace went 2 for 3, Kirsten Danford went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Josie Lemmons went 2 for 4.
Owls topple Olympians
Columbus East led 3-2 after four innings, but Seymour rallied for a 10-3 Hoosier Hills Conference win.
Kenzie Foster and Addy Ross each went 2 for 4 for the Olympians (2-8, 0-2).
Columbus Christian falls
Dugger Union scored 17 times in the first three innings and went on to hand Columbus Christian a 22-6, four-inning defeat.
The Crusaders fell to 0-5.
Chargers top Lancers
EDINBURGH — Edinburgh dropped a 7-4 MHC decision to North Decatur.
Gracie Crawhorn went 3 for 3 with a double and a home run for the Lancers (4-6, 2-4). MacKenzie Bieker went 2 for 3 with a homer and two RBIs.
Raiders edge Cougars
SEYMOUR — South Ripley pushed across a run in the eighth inning to pull out a 6-5 extra-inning win at Trinity Lutheran.
The Cougars fell to 5-2.
GIRLS TENNIS
North stays unbeaten
SCOTTSBURG — No. 2 Columbus North had little trouble in rolling to a 5-0 win at Scottsburg.
Ashlie Wilson beat Grace Routt at No. 1 singles, and Kathryn Wilson topped Claire Routt at No. 2 singles, both by 6-0, 6-0 scores, and Aya Saad downed Kandra Shuler 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Bull Dogs (4-0).
North’s Tiffany Fu and Siri Poludasu topped Olivia Fugate and Brinley Solof 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles. Annabelle Sun and Sydney Cooper defeated Melea Luttrell and Kira Shelhamer 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
East gets first win
Columbus East picked up its first win of the season, a 5-0 victory against Madison.
Katie Hong beat Anne Bluemon 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, Shruthika Kumar topped Taylor Harsin 5-7, 7-5, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Ruth Federle downed Trinity Stoner 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles for the Olympians (1-6).
East’s Katie Rieckers and Cathrine Millwood beat Erin Burkhardt and Claire Sluah 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Ashlynn Waddle and Betsy Hoene defeated Harley Jenkins and Addison Mundt 2-6, 7-6 (1), 7-6 (3) at No. 2 doubles.

HOPE — Hauser claimed a win at No. 3 singles, but Waldron took the other four matches in handing the Jets a 4-1 MHC defeat.
Addyson Barriger beat Riley Price 6-1,6-1. at No. 3 singles for the Jets (2-5, 1-1).
Hauser’s Bella Kilps fell to Nichole Garner4-6, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, and Charlie Clark lost to Josee Larrison 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Gabby Johns and Mattie Foster fell to Mackenzie Shaw and Megan Bogeman 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Abby Blair and Lydia Jordan lost to Audrey Hogg and Emily Tyree 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
BOYS GOLF
East edges Shelbyville
Pierce Arnholt won medalist honors with a 39 to lead Columbus East to a 183-186 win against Shelbyville at Otter Creek.
Ben Luedeke carded a 45 for the Olympians. Carter Greene added a 48, Jared Brooks shot 49, J.T. Kulhman had a 51 and Spencer Erfmeier finished with a 56.
Jets finish third
Hauser finished third in a tri match at Otter Creek. North Decatur won with a 181 to 185 for Batesville and 221 for Hauser.
Chase Martoccia led the Jets with a 51. Caleb Wallace and Zach Weichman each shot 55, Bryce Kuntz added a 60 and Ben Johnson had a 62.
