ELIZABETHTOWN
Ruby M. Nichols, 92 of Elizabethtown, died Friday, May 6, 2022 at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab.
She was a native of Glasgow and was the former manager at Taylorsville Elememtary cafeteria in Taylorsville, IN.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Thomas Nichols; her parents, William S. and Ella Jennings White; a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Metz; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Metz (Kevin) of Columbus, IN, and Donetta Pierce (Roger) of Elizabethtown; one granddaughter, Stephanie Akers (Bill) and two great-grandchildren, Evan Akers and Elise Akers.
A graveside service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bowles Cemetery in Glasgow.
