Sheila Kay Endsley

Sheila Kay Endsley, 74, of Ashland, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, in Summa Akron Hospital, in Akron, Ohio.

She was born June 29, 1947, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of the late Floyd and Rexina “Tux” (nee Eddy) Collins.

Sheila graduated from Columbus North High School in 1965.

She retired after more than 14 years from Harps Grocery Store in 2017.

Sheila was a member of Cross Connect Church in Ashland and the Ohio Chapel United Methodist Church in Columbus.

Throughout her life, Sheila was a sports enthusiast. She loved to watch the Cleveland Indians and attend both her children and grandchildren’s sporting events. She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan and sometimes sports critic. She also enjoyed both flower and vegetable gardening.

Sheila will be deeply missed by her loving family.

She is survived by her three sons, Tony (Brooke) Coffey of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Tim (Kristin) Endsley of Orville, Ohio and Randy (Katy) Endsley of Ashland, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Daulton (Mallory), Sloane, and Elijah Coffey, and Andrew, Kyle, Connor, Sydney, and Evan Endsley; two great grandchildren, Jon and Cal; and one brother, Darren Collins of Columbus, Indiana.

In addition to her parents, Sheila is preceded in death by her one brother, Clayton Collins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 31, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home, 313 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805 with Pastor Tommy Theisen officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.

An additional service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Ohio Chapel United Methodist Church, 11275 West 525 South, Columbus, IN 47201 with Amy Linnemann officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
