For a local civic group, their charitable work is in the bag.
Patrons of Mill Race Center bring in their used plastic bags and deposit them in a container of recycling. On Monday mornings, members of the Columbus Golden K Kiwanis organize and flatten the bags for future use. The bags are then delivered to Love Chapel, where they are used to fill with food donations for their clients.
