Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies are investigating a motorcycle accident that happened at about 5:17 p.m. Saturday at mile marker 75 on Interstate 65.
Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Deputy Colten Fowler was sent to the accident along with German Township Fire Department.
The driver, identified as Caleb Burrows, 30, Indianapolis, became airborne after hitting a concrete barrier, deputies said. Burrows was conscious and alert on scene before being taken by Lifeline helicopter to Indianapolis for treatment.
Burrows was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, deputies said.
