COLUMBUS, INDIANA
Michael B. Hyden, 67, a resident of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life 11:57 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana.
Michael was born in Columbus, July 31, 1954, the son of Roy G. Hyden Sr. and Ruth M. Murray Hyden.
Michael was a concrete truck driver for Shelby Materials for 30-plus years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughters, Aubri Hyden of Columbus and Carissa King of Columbus; grandchildren, Caidence Branum of Columbus, Peyton Brown of Columbus, Cameron Gohn of Columbus, and Mason King of South Carolina; sisters, Penny Merideth of Elizabethtown, Judy (Phil) Dimplefeld of Columbus, Linda (David) Burmeister of New Whiteland, and Peggy (John) Seale of Seymour; brother, Roy (Linda) Hyden Jr. of Arizona; his former wife, Barbara Hall of Columbus; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Sr. and Ruth Hyden and a niece, Kelly Strange.
The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street; Dr. Martin E. Wright will officiate.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Michael will be laid to rest at the Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, please make your check payable to Aubri Hyden.
