COLUMBUS
Kathleen “Kat” Warner, 72, of Columbus, passed from this life on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 9:54 p.m. at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born April 29, 1950, in Perry County, Kentucky the daughter of Lee and Gladlene Reed Hensley. On October 9, 1966, she married Earl Gene Warner, Sr.
She retired from Cosco, Inc after many years of service. She enjoyed keeping up-to-date with her family and friends on Facebook, coloring, and baking cakes and decorating them for her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Earl Gene Warner Sr. of Columbus; children, Earl Gene Warner, Jr, David Allan (Kassi) Warner, Chrystal Gail Graves, and Brandon Gene Warner; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; siblings, Sylvia Sue Hinkston of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joan Francis Smith of Hazard, Kentucky, Dosha Adkins of Campton, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lloyd Napier, Timothy Hensley, Arthur Devon Hensley; granddaughters, Shayla A. Graves and Callie Sweet; and a daughter-in-law, Rita Warner.
The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Family and friends may call for visitation from 10:00 a.m. till time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
