With just a week left before the deadline to submit paperwork for school board elections, three more candidates have filed to run.
Roy West, 38, filed Friday morning and seeks the District 2 seat on Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp.’s board. He listed his employer for the previous year as Cummins, Inc.
The District 2 seat is currently held by Rich Stenner, who filed for re-election in late July. Stenner, 65, listed his employer as Columbus Regional Hospital.
Additionally, two candidates have filed to run for the Flat Rock District of Flat Rock-Hawcreek School Corp.’s school board.
David J. O’Neill, 41, filed Thursday afternoon and listed his employer for the previous year as Toyota Material Handling. Chad Miller, who currently holds the seat, filed for re-election on Friday morning. Miller, 39, listed his employment as C. A. Miller Construction.
The deadline to turn in all necessary paperwork as a school board candidate is noon on Friday, Aug. 26.
