North tops Plainfield

Eighth-ranked Columbus North pulled out a pair of three-set wins Wednesday to claim a 4-1 win against No. 29 Plainfield.

Nathan Lin blanked Marcus Cox 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, and Austin Clark topped Caleb Webb 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 singles for the Bull Dogs (4-1). Anvay Atram and Amrit Kar downed Cooper Marton and Colton East 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Parth Gupta and Darren Li defeated Nate Brackney and Vinny Wittenbring 7-6 (12), 4-6, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.

Panthers win tri match

SCOTTSBURG — Sophia Curry won medalist honors with a 39 to lead Jennings County to a tri-match victory at Westwood. The Panthers finished with a 184 team total to 218 for both Scottsburg and Shawe Memorial.

Alexis Carson carded a 40 for Jennings. Lauren Galvan added a 52, Rachael Manning shot 53 and Shelby Davis had a 58.

Eagles post tri-match win

NASHVILLE — Lilly VanNess won medalist honors with a 45 to lead Brown County to a tri-match win at Salt Creek. The Eagles scored a 214 to 227 for South Putnam and 242 for Monrovia.

Ava Stogsdill carded a 52 for Brown County. Hannah deWeerdt added a 54, Chloe Poling shot 63, Savannah Poling had a 65 and Maya Hernandez-Graham finished with a 72.

Lancers take sixth

FRANKLIN — Edinburgh finished sixth in the Johnson County Tournament with a 445 at The Legends.

No. 7 Franklin slipped past No. 5 Center Grove 296-302 for the team title.
