The Feelin’ Peachy 5K is a down and back Run/Walk as a fundraiser for Girl Scout Troop 3063 to help support their fall break trip to Savannah, Georgia. It will take place on the People Trail with the start/finish line at Lincoln’s on Park/Hamilton Center. Refreshments provided by Kroger. In conjunction with the race we’ve teamed up with the Got Sneakers? fundraiser to keep old sneakers out of landfills by refurbishing/reusing or by recycling them into a new product. Old sneakers in any condition will be accepted either at the 5k or prior to the 5k at any of our 6 local business collection sites.

Learn about our county through interactive, hands-on exhibits that include a map table, notable people, county timeline, Then and Now, Did You Know, early industrialists and videos of Reeves steam engines. Irwin Miller Architecture Program presents Arboreta, an exhibition by artist John Berry, in the gallery. Arboreta draws inspiration from the history, structures, and resilience of allotment gardens, most recently the Schrebergartens of Leipzig, Germany, exploring their implications for how we organize our images, our identity, and our communities.
