Ethan Duncan // Columbus East senior football player

Duncan completed 8 of 13 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown and carried six times for 116 yards and two scores in Friday’s 42-7 win at New Albany.

His performance last week: “I feel pretty good about it. They wanted to get me loose outside the pocket and see if I could get some green grass, and I think we did that.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “If it’s an away game, I’ll watch film on the way.”

Norah Dwenger

Dwenger netted two goals and an assist in a 9-0 win against Jennings County, then had another two goals and an assist in Saturday’s 5-0 win at New Albany.

Her performance last week: “I’m pretty happy with it. The team is starting to play together more, and I was happy with the way I played.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “I usually just listen to music.”
