Ivy Tech Community College Columbus will host a free community event from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday that includes food trucks, a silent auction, games for kids, and more.
The event, called the Big Green Smash, will be held at the Ivy Tech Columbus campus, 4475 Central Ave. It is hosted by the college’s Student Government Association.
The Big Green Smash is open to all community members and students of Ivy Tech. In addition to food and games, a silent auction will raise money for Ivy Tech’s Student Emergency Relief Fund, which helps students with transportation, food security, mental health services, technology access, and childcare.
The new Ivy Tech Columbus main campus building, Moravec Hall, will also be available to view during the event.
