Duncan tied for fourth after first-round 65

LAS VEGAS — Tyler Duncan fired a 6-under-par 65 in Thursday’s opening round of the Shriners Childrens Open and is in a tie for fourth place.

Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, shot 3-under 32 on the front nine and 3-under 33 on the back at TPC Summerlin. He had seven birdies and one bogey.

Tom Hoge leads the field at 8-under 63. Si Woo Kim and Maverick McNealy are one shot back at 7-under 64.
