Communication is sorely needed these days, and it was disappointing none of our four Republican candidates for Bartholomew County Council were able to show up at the library and meet constituents at the EMCC/Sierra Club Candidate Forum Oct 6. The Democratic candidates were present, well prepared, and willing to listen.
We can’t all coast into office like Rep. Greg Pence, based on the fame of a younger brother, nor should we. Our candidates need to make more of an effort.
