COLUMBUS, INDIANA

Richard Dale England, 67, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility with his wife by his side.

Richard Dale was born January 5, 1955, in Bartholomew County, the son of W.L. and Violet Brown England. On September 21, 1986, he married Wuanita V. Rose Routier. They just celebrated 36 years of marriage together.

Richard Dale was previously employed at David R. Webb Company of Edinburgh until the company closed. Richard Dale was also employed at Dolly Madison Bakery of Columbus until retiring due to health issues.

Survivors include his wife, Wuanita; son, Brandon Paul England; grandsons, Christopher Wininger and Levi Dale England, all of Columbus. Richard Dale loved spending time with his grandsons. Other survivors include sisters-in-law, Scarlet Rose of Florida, Kellie Gust of Indianapolis and Shellie Johnson of Franklin; brother-in-law, Rusty Rose, also of Franklin; mother-in-law, Nancy S. Routier and father-in-law, William Rose Jr, both of Columbus. Richard Dale is also survived by special caregiver, Megan Lake.

In keeping with the family’s request, cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at a later time. There will be no funeral as requested by his wife.

Richard was loved and will be missed by both his wife and family.
