Apprisen, with Union Savings Bank, Southern Indiana Housing and Community Development Corp. and the Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Homebuyer Program, will have a free first-time homebuyer workshop Saturday, April 15 at YES Cinema.
The session will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the cinema, 328 Jackson St., in downtown Columbus.
Topics include preparing for homeownership, working with a real estate agent, understanding budgets and credit history, working with a lender, home inspections and home maintenance and preventing loan default.
Those who attend will receive a HUD homebuyer certificate upon completing the workshop.
