Leslie Suzanne Begley

INDIANAPOLIS

Leslie Suzanne Begley 39, was born April 27th 1983 to Darrell and Connie Begley. Leslie left this world to be with Jesus and family on March 6th 2023 from her residence in Indianapolis.

Leslies wish for a private service was honored on Saturday March 11th at the Revival Tabernacle with Reverend Eli Johnson officiating.

Leslie attended Edinburgh Community Schools, kindergarten thru 10th grade. She was an avid volleyball player in school. She also played basketball and ran cross country. She loved playing softball in the Parks and Recreations summer leagues.

She graduated from Columbus North High School in 2001.

She then went on to college to pursue her love for writing at the Indiana University School of Journalism where she received her bachelor’s degree.

While attending college she worked in homes for the disabled, which lead her to go on to get her nursing degree.

She got her bachelor’s degree in nursing and became a registered nurse. She was employed by Community Health Hospital in Indianapolis.

Leslie started in the Cardiac Critical Care unit and worked there for years. When patients were dying she would hold their hand to comfort them, pray with them, and read the bible to them.

When she was no longer physically able to work in Cardiac Critical Care, they gave her the job of Nurse Case Manager in the Utilization Review Department so she could work from home.

Leslie recued her dog Simon from a shelter and she loved him with all her heart. Simon and her were best friends. He was also her protector.

She had a bear she loved which she named Bobby, he was a prize she had won in girl scouts. She slept with him every night and he even traveled with her to overnight stays.

She was an avid animal lover. She would stop anytime she would see a dog running loose and knock on doors to find the owner, then she would proceed to educate them on dog safety.

Leslie was the sunshine and love of our life and so many others’ lives. She will always be greatly loved and missed but never ever forgotten.
