Kimberly “Kim” Dawn Beecher

SEYMOUR

Kimberly “Kim” Dawn Beecher, 61, of Seymour, passed away peacefully in her sleep while at home Monday, March 20, 2023.

Kim was born May 22, 1961, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Billy Dean and Dorothy Miller Lambrecht.

Kim worked at Bar-Cons Federal Credit Union for over 20 years as a member service representative. She enjoyed helping people and interacting with members of the community. Kim was also a pre-school assistant for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation for many years. Later in life, she found satisfaction, once again, by helping others, this time as a sales associate at Kroger. Her laugh was contagious, her kindness genuine and she always wore a smile while at work. It seemed that Kim never met a stranger as her “gift of gab” and outgoing personality were apparent in any setting. She adored her grandchildren. It wouldn’t take long before her phone was out, showing off pictures of her grandbabies. Playing cards, sitting around campfires late at night and gardening were some her favorite things to do in her free time. Kim also enjoyed cooking and watching movies. Attending dinners with her father at Montana Mike’s was always a fun experience that she looked forward to. Kim will be greatly missed by those that knew her or have spent any amount of time around her bubbly personality.

Survivors include her son, Ryan (Jessica) Beecher of Freetown; daughter, Alison (Kevin) Nemeth of Bloomington; grandchildren, Keiran Perera, Koda Beecher, Averie Beecher; sister, Karen (Todd) Franklin of Chester, Virginia; brothers, Michael (Tammy) Lambrecht of Brownstown, Mark (Emily) Lambrecht of Columbus; nephews, Spencer Franklin, Carter Lambrecht; nieces, Rachael Franklin, Alex Reynolds, Lilly Reynolds and Macy Lambrecht.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with the family’s request, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Luke Maggard officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
