Sierra Norman
Marian University first baseman Sierra Norman has been named the Crossroads League Player of the Week for softball.
Norman, a junior from Columbus North, batted .538 with five extra base hits and a 1.385 slugging percentage. She also had nine RBIs, scored six runs and had a .600 on-base percentage.
For the season, Norman is batting .393 with five doubles and 15 runs scored. Her two home runs in the second game of last week’s doubleheader win against Goshen gave her the league lead with four. She also ranks second in the league with 19 RBIs in 18 games for the 17-1 Knights.
