COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies and Columbus firefighters are at the scene of a serious two-vehicle accident in the 8200 block of East 25th Street near Bonnell Road reported at about 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Two people have been transported by Lifeline helicopter to Indianapolis-area hospitals and a third was transported by ambulance to a hospital, investigators said.
The road is expected to be closed for some time following this accident and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
