Stahl, Woodard each score 11 in All-Star exhibition

INDIANAPOLIS — Recent Columbus East graduate Saige Stahl scored 11 points Wednesday, but her Indiana All-Stars team lost to the Indiana Junior All-Stars 102-75 in an exhibition game at Cathedral.

Jennings County’s Juliann Woodard scored 11 points and led the Junior All-Stars with 12 rebounds, five steals and two blocked shots. She added four assists and went 3 for 5 from the field, including 3 for 4 from 3-point range, and 2 for 2 from the free-throw line in 22 minutes, 21 seconds of action.

Stahl went 4 for 5 from the field, missing only a 3-pointer, and 3 for 3 from the free throw line in 12:41 of action.

The senior All-Stars play the Kentucky All-Stars at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Owensboro, Kentucky, and 5 p.m. Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Both girls games will be followed by boys games between the Indiana and Kentucky All-Stars.
