The following area students won merit awards and scholarships at the Franklin College Spring Honors Convocation on April 27.
Chesney J. Loehr, Columbus, received the Truman and Mildred Hoover Endowed Scholarship (chemistry and physics).
Trae E. Haley, Columbus, received the Edna Lacy Endowed Scholarship (economics, business and accounting).
Savannah E. Root, Columbus, received the Professor Charles A. Deppe Endowed Scholarship (pre-med).
Lola Reed, Columbus, received the Pulliam Fellowship Award.
Brooke K. Stephens, Columbus, received the John D. Peterson Endowed Scholarship in Finance and the the Student Leadership Endorsement Award.
