IU-Columbus wins men’s soccer opener

IU-Columbus made its men’s soccer debut Tuesday night a winning one with a 4-1 triumph against Boyce College.

The Crimson Pride jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead. John Michael Bright scored in the second minute, Herman Rendon connected off an assist from Angel Roque in the 42nd minute and Cung Mang scored in the 44th minute.

Boyce got on the board in the 55th minute. Columbus North graduate Fabio Navarro then finished off the scoring off an assist from Roque in the 83rd minute.

Jacob Kasarda recorded seven saves for IUC.
