No. 3 Bull Dogs roll in North Invitational

The third-ranked Columbus North boys tennis team dropped only 12 games in two matches in rolling to the North Invitational title on Saturday.

Despite playing without top singles player Hank Lin, the Bull Dogs (9-1) lost just nine games in a 5-0 victory against Batesville, then dropped only three games in a 5-0 win against Providence.

North’s Michael Crossman and Yoki Murabayashi won both of their No. 2 doubles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram won 6-0, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.

Teddy Littrell won 6-2, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Austin Clark prevailed 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Parth Shah rolled 6-3, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.
