Class 3A No. 6 Columbus North, which made it to the Boys Soccer State Finals last year, will play Greenwood in the opening round of the North Sectional at around 8 p.m. Oct. 3.
The Columbus East boys also will play that night, facing Franklin at 6 p.m. The winners will play in the semifinals at around 8 p.m. Oct. 4. Roncalli will face the winner of the Oct. 2 first-round match between Whiteland and Franklin Central in the first semifinal at 6 p.m. Oct. 4.
The final is at 2 p.m. Oct. 7.
On the girls side, North will play Whiteland at around 8 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 3A Whiteland Sectional. East drew a first-round bye and will meet Greenwood or Franklin Central in the semifinals at 6 p.m. Oct. 5, followed by the North-Whiteland winner facing the Franklin-Roncalli winner.
The final is at 7 p.m. Oct. 7.

Hauser’s boys drew a bye and will play Indianapolis Lutheran at 5 p.m. Oct. 5 in semifinals of the Class A Lutheran Sectional. The winner will face Southwestern (Shelby), Indiana Math and Science or Covenant Christian in the final at 2 p.m. Oct. 7.
Jennings County’s boys will play Jeffersonville at 5 p.m. Oct. 2 in the first round of the Jeffersonville Sectional. The winner will meet Floyd Central or Seymour in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Oct. 4, and that winner will play New Albany or Bedford North Lawrence in the final at 2 p.m. Oct. 7.
The Brown County boys will play Northview at around 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2 in the first round of the Northview Sectional. The winner will face Edgewood or West Vigo in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 4, and the final is at 2 p.m. Oct. 7.
Trinity Lutheran’s boys will play Henryville at 5 p.m. Oct. 2 in the first round of the Trinity Sectional. The winner will face Lanesville at 5 p.m. Oct. 4, and the final is at 2 p.m. Jeffersonville Oct. 7.
On the girls side, Jennings County will play Jeffersonville at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3 in the first round of the BNL Sectional. The winner will meet Seymour or Floyd Central in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 5, and that winner will play BNL or New Albany in the final at 6 p.m. Oct. 7.
Brown County’s girls will play Southwestern (Hanover) at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in the first round of the Trinity Sectional. The winner will face host Trinity at around 7 p.m. Oct. 5. That winner will play Austin or Providence in the final at 7 p.m. Oct. 7.
Girls regional semifinals are Oct. 10, and boys regional semifinals are Oct. 11. Boys and girls regional finals are Oct. 14.
Semistates, one of which will be hosted by Columbus East, are Oct. 21. The state finals are Oct. 27-28 at IUPUI’s Michael Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium.
