Franciscan offers flu clinic

INDIANAPOLIS – Franciscan Health is offering Central Indiana residents a way to get their annual flu shots at multiple drive-through vaccination clinics, which will be open to the public across Central Indiana through Oct. 22.

Patients 6 months and older can receive the flu vaccinations. Available vaccines include shingles, pneumonia and flu, with high-dose, egg-free, flu mist and quadrivalent options.

In Columbus, the October flu shot clinic will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Franciscan Physician Network Columbus Primary & Specialty Care parking lot, 123 Second St.

Those attending the drive-through clinics are asked to dress appropriately to receive their vaccine, bring their insurance card and be prepared to complete paperwork. Those with no insurance or self-pay will be charged $40 by cash, check or debit card. If requesting the COVID vaccine, bring proof of vaccination. Other charges could apply.
