UPDATED: Winter weather advisory in effect for Bartholomew County

The winter weather advisory is now in effect until 1 p.m. Friday with a wind chill advisory going into effect from 7 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday.

Light snow will end but blowing snow will linger into the afternoon. Additional snow
accumulations will generally be no more than a few tenths of an inch at most. For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 20 below zero.

Slippery road conditions will continue through Friday morning.

COLUMBUS, Ind. — A winter weather advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Friday for Bartholomew County.

A wind chill advisory remains in effect from 7 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday.

Additional snow accumulations of 1 inch are possible with wind chills as low as 15 below zero.

Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution on the roads.

Bartholomew County’s travel status has been raised to an Advisory Level.

Use caution while driving, allow extra time for travel, and distance between you and other vehicles.
