ASAP to offer training sessions

The Alliance for Substance Abuse Progress (ASAP) will provide a free stress management training to workplaces in Bartholomew County.

The effort is part of ASAP’s Rethinking Wellness Initiative, underscoring the organization’s commitment to fostering overall well being and preventing potential substance misuse through education and practical resources.

Dr. Joel Bennett, organizational Wellness and Learning Systems president, will train six people from the Columbus community using an evidence-based curriculum.

The training, entitled “Thriving from Stress: Building Resilience and Wellness in the Workplace” will then be available to local organizations, workplaces, churches and others starting March 1.

Organizations interested in hosting the “Thriving from Stress” training may contact ASAP to schedule sessions. For more information, visit asapbc.org/prevention.
