Todd
The Columbus Fire Department has promoted two within the Fire Investigation and Inspection Division.
Inspector Troy Todd has been promoted to fire marshal. Todd will oversee the Fire Investigations and Inspections Division and will continue to provide inspection and investigation services. He has been with CFD since 2002 and he has been in the Investigations and Inspection Division since 2020.
Firefighter Andy Johns has been promoted to Inspector, an administrative captain rank. Johns has been with the Columbus Fire Department since 2015. In addition to building inspections within the city of Columbus, he will also conduct fire investigations within the city.
