Gray earns first save as a Red in Spring Training win

GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Peyton Gray pitched the final inning and earned his first save of Spring Training Sunday in the Cincinnati Reds’ 5-3 win against the Cleveland Guardians.

The Columbus East graduate allowed one run on two hits and one walk in the ninth inning. Nick Lodolo, who missed most of last year with an injury, pitched the first two innings and picked up the win.

The Reds (8-5) play the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday.
