Medora man arrested and accused of multiple possession of child pornography charges

JACKSON COUNTY — Indiana State Police detectives arrested a Jackson County man Tuesday on multiple counts of possession of child pornography after a three-month investigation by troopers assigned to the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The investigation began in December 2023 when a cybertip was received from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.  The tip was then forwarded to the Indiana ICAC Task Force to investigate.  The investigation led to a search warrant being served Tuesday at a residence in the 9000 block of West U.S. 50 near Medora.

During the investigation, multiple images of suspected child pornography were found on social media accounts and electronic devices allegedly belonging to Paxston A. Allman, 19, Medora.
