SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran opened its softball season Monday with an 8-6 win against Madison.
Olivia Cain went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, and Addison Keaton went 2 for 2 with a double and three RBIs for the Cougars. Addi Burcham went 2 for 2 with a double.
Grace Lance threw a nine-hitter and struck out 13 in picking up the win.
