NORTH VERNON — Jennings County scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to send it to extra innings Wednesday, but Beech Grove scored twice in the ninth to claim a 4-2 softball victory.
Alexis Carson went 3 for 4 with a double, and Maycie Ward smacked the game-tying two-run homer in the seventh for the Panthers (1-1).
