Letter: Republicans, what will it take to just say Trump’s wrong?

From: Bob Pitman

Columbus

I continue to be amazed and disappointed by Republican friends unwilling to criticize the outrageous comments and behavior of Donald Trump.

Initially they said “he really didn’t mean it” or was just trying to be funny.

They excused his comments about John McCain, saying Trump only respected veterans who didn’t become prisoners.

They said his lewd comments about attacking womens’ privates was “just locker room talk”.

They were mute when he sang the praises of Vladimir Putin and touted love letters from Kim Jung Un.

Most recently Trump has said there would be a “bloodbath” if he isn’t elected.

And now we know his bragging about his wealth was greatly exaggerated!

I realize it is very difficult to admit when we are wrong.

But my question to Republican friends is, “Just what will it take?”
