East splits with Bloomington South

BLOOMINGTON — Columbus East bounced back from an 11-1 loss in the first game Saturday with a 7-4, nine-inning victory in the second game to split a softball doubleheader at Bloomington South.

The Olympians were limited to three hits in the opener. Hermione Robinson had a triple.

In the second game, Robinson threw a four-hitter and had a double and two RBIs. Baleigh Fish clubbed her third home run in four games this season and had three RBIs for East (3-1).
