Hauser sweeps tri meet to open season

CROTHERSVILLE — The Hauser boys and girls track teams opened their outdoor seasons Monday with tri-meet wins at Crothersville.

The Jet boys scored 79 points to 49 for Crothersville and 21 for Trinity Lutheran. Hauser’s girls scored 70 points to 55 for Trinity and 11 for Crothersville.

Lakota Robbins was a triple winner for the Jet boys, taking the long jump (16 feet, 5 inches), 100 (11.9 seconds) and 200 (25.2). Luke Bruner won the shot put (41-4) and discus (150-4), Colin Kistler took the 400 (55.4) and 3,200 (11:15) and Nolan Dailey captured the 800 (2:21.0). Hauser also won the 4×800 (9:58) and 4×400 (4:06) relays.

Trinity’s Jake Holland won the 110 hurdles (15.6) and 300 hurdles (48.0).

Addison Dailey took the 100 hurdles (19.6) and 300 hurdles (59.1) to lead the Hauser girls. Other winners for the Jets were Lily Roll in the long jump (12-3), Kennedy Konradi in the 1,600 (6:46), Abigayle Trotter in the 800 (2:58.8) and Grace Hattabaugh in the 3,200 (17:08). Hauser also captured the 4×800 relay (13:31).

Trinity’s Bailey Bonde won the shot (29-4 1/2) and discus (85-6), and Abby Lorenz took the high jump (4-8) and 200 (30.8). Kaydence Miller won the 100 (13.6), Ava Blomenberg took the 400 (1:03.4) and the Cougars captured the 4×100 (57.1) and 4×400 (4:52.7) relays.
