COLUMBUS
Traci Lynn Roe, 52, of Columbus, Indiana passed away at 3:08 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2024, at IU Health Methodist Hospital. Traci was born on February 16, 1972, in Columbus, Indiana to Jerry D. Newland and Cheryl L. Hedrick Newland.
Traci was a graduate of Columbus North High School and was employed at Eastside Veterinary Clinic. Traci was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and best friend to many. She was engaged to her fiancé, Doug, who she loved fiercely and loved her time spent with him. She had a great love for animals and plants. Traci enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting.
Traci is survived by her children, Tanner Roe, Shelby (Michael England) Roe, Jackson Roe; fiancé, Doug Burbrink; siblings, Mark A. (Jessica) Newland, Jerry P. (Jennifer) Newland, Jerika D. (Monty Ball) Newland, Nick (Rachel) Myers and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry D. and Cheryl L. Newland, Terry Myers, sister, Lori A. Camplin, her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
