A lot of games and matches were postponed last week because of the weather. However, with rain expected in the forecast for the rest of the week, more postponements could be on the way. Here are some of the rescheduled dates for the Bartholomew County schools:
Columbus North has rescheduled its home boys golf match with Brownstown Central for Tuesday. The home softball game with Roncalli that was postponed has been rescheduled for Friday, the home baseball game with East Central for May 1 and its Conference Indiana baseball game with Bloomington North for Wednesday. The girls tennis match against Seymour has been rescheduled for April 22, and its match at Center Grove has been moved to April 24. The track meet at Jeffersonville has been rescheduled for May 2.
Columbus East has rescheduled its softball game at Brownstown Central for April 12 and its home softball game against Floyd Central for April 17. The girls tennis match at Edinburgh is rescheduled for April 16.
The Hauser at Jennings County girls tennis match has been rescheduled for Tuesday. The Edinburgh at Hauser softball game has been moved to Wednesday. The Hauser at Edinburgh baseball game has been rescheduled for May 2. The Hauser at Brown County boys golf match has been rescheduled for Wednesday. The Jets’ home track meet against South Decatur and Morristown was canceled, and those teams will join Hauser in its April 26 meet against Indy Genesis.
Columbus Christian’s home baseball and softball games against Rock Creek Academy have been rescheduled for Monday.
North to host singing ceremony
Columbus North will host its third and final college ceremony in the school’s cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
East girls soccer call out meeting
The Columbus East girls soccer program will have a callout meeting on at 6:30 p.m. April 22 in the school’s cafeteria. All players interested in playing next year and their parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Doors 15 and T should be unlocked and available to enter.
