ROACHDALE — Brown County opened its Western Indiana Conference softball schedule Tuesday with a 7-3 win at North Putnam.
Chloe Poling, Ava Stogsdill and Gabby Dersch all went 3 for 4; Lexie Austin went 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs and Ally Hash had two RBIs for the Eagles (2-3, 1-0). Ava Sanders recorded nine strikeouts.
