NORTH VERNON — Jennings County opened its girls tennis season Tuesday with a 4-1 win against Hauser.
Tatum Brown beat Bella Kilps 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, Kaydence Lowman topped Lydia Jordan 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Mia Silvey defeated Kayden Miller at No. 3 singles for the Panthers. Jennings’ Gabi Morin and Maddie McIntosh slipped past Kaycee Ridgley and Abby Manley 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
The point for the Jets (0-2) came at No. 1 doubles, where Mattie Foster and Addy Barriger beat Jocelyn Valdovinos and Sophia Lucas 6-4, 6-3.
