SHELBYVILLE — Southwestern (Shelby) pulled out a three-set win at No. 2 singles Monday to claim a 3-2 Mid-Hoosier Conference girls tennis win against Edinburgh.
Jessica Walsh won 6-4, 3-6, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, and Zoey Sida prevailed 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles for the Lancers (0-3, 0-2).
Edinburgh’s Izzy Richardson fell 7-6, 4-6, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Mia Dodson and Lily Turner lost 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, and Bella Turner and Gracie Lawson fell 6-1, 7-6 at No. 2 doubles.
