Eagles bounce Braves

NASHVILLE — Brown County won four matches in straight sets Monday in a 4-1 girls tennis win against Brownstown Central.

Anna Stogsdill blanked Jenna Bolte 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Anna Tipton topped Avery Harrison 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Julia Burt beat Cambell Shadeen 7-6, 6-1 at No. 3 singles for the Eagles (6-3). Ava Kelly and Cady Kemp defeated Kaitlyn Williams and Bella Brown 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles.

Brown County’s Atheena Doughty and Ashlynn Mercer were trailing Audrey Scalese and Jenna Preston 6-4, 1-0 when the Eagles injury defaulted.
