EDINBURGH — New Palestine won all five matches in straight sets Tuesday in handing Edinburgh a 5-0 girls tennis defeat.
Jessica Walsh fell to Kaitlyn Mitchell 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Izzy Richardson lost to Bethany Blachly 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Zoey Sida fell to Maizy Haynes 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Lancers (0-4).
Edinburgh’s Lily Turner and Mia Dodson lost to Josephine Harvey and Emily Appelby at No. 1 doubles, and Gracie Lawson and Bella Turner fell to Amelia Schneider and Riley Watts at No. 2 doubles, both by 6-0, 6-1 scores.
