HOPE — Simeon Wasil threw a five-hit shutout Friday to lead Hauser to a 10-0, six-inning Mid-Hoosier Conference baseball win against Waldron.
Wasil struck out nine and walked one for the Jets (5-5, 3-0).
Kam Blair went 3 for 3, and Holden Pittman went 2 for 3 with a double and five RBIs to lead Hauser’s 11-hit attack. Lucas Christian went 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, and Stryker Gill went 2 for 3 with a double.
